December 23, 2020

Today, Headwaters Health Care Centre and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) declared the outbreak of COVID-19 on F-Wing over. We have had no additional hospital-acquired cases with staff or patients related to this outbreak in several days.

As of today, December 23, there are 2 patients on F-Wing with community acquired COVID-19.

There are F-Wing staff members that acquired COVID-19 in our hospital. These team members will continue to be followed by Occupational Health and Public Health for guidance on self-isolation, self-monitoring and clearance to return to work.

Control measures that were in place to specifically address this outbreak have now been lifted.

F-Wing will begin accepting admissions as soon as possible. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work through staffing challenges to accept admissions on F-Wing. We remain committed to safe patient care.
