Anna-Marie Sutherland is an accomplished and successful health care leader with over 10 years of progressive leadership experience with in-depth background in multiple clinical programs. She holds extensive and diverse leadership experience in the healthcare sector, with deep operational experience, and has led a number of quality improvement and change management initiatives.
Anna-Marie has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University and a Masters of Health Management from McMaster University. She has also completed the Leadership and Management for Nurses Certificate at Ryerson University, and is a Certified Health Executive through the Canadian College of Health Leaders. She also has further expertise and certification in Nephrology and Dialysis, adult education, self-management and chronic disease prevention and management, applied research methods and project management.
Anna-Marie possesses a breadth of knowledge and expertise in clinical leadership, and has substantial experience with medium sized community hospitals, as well as large regional centres and multi-site organizations. Anna-Marie is passionate about the patient and family experience, developing and supporting high functioning teams, and innovation in complex and dynamic environments.
