Auxiliary

More than 65 years of community engagement, and counting.

On any given day, you will no doubt see a dedicated volunteer serving in our Pulse Café and Gift Shop, providing service to a patient, visitor or staff member at our hospital. If you look out into the community, you will see volunteers running successful enterprises like the Seconds Count Thrift Store. These men and women are members of the HHCC Auxiliary, a dedicated group of volunteers who are also philanthropists.

Our Auxiliary members have played a critical role in providing customer service and supporting patient care; from escorting patients to raising funds to purchase new equipment or contributions to larger capital campaigns. Each member is assigned a role that matches their interest, skill and experience with the greatest needs at our hospital.

The HHCC Auxiliary recruits, interviews, screens, places and recognizes every team member of almost 300 volunteers. To support this important work, the HHCC Auxiliary is governed by the Auxiliary Board of Directors.
