One Community, Caring Together to Provide Excellent Care, Close to Home
We are excited to share with you Headwaters Health Care Centre’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan.
Our plan will guide us over the next five years to focus on key initiatives that will strengthen the care we provide for our community.
Last year we began an exciting journey to shape the future of health care in our hospital and beyond.
We heard from nearly 3,000 people including staff, physicians, volunteers, patients, families, and community members. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and perspectives.
We were guided by our Strategic Planning Advisory Committee of the Board of Directors and Patient Family Advisory Partnership as we considered all feedback.
This year we will complete renovations to our dialysis unit. Our Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine (MRI) is also on the horizon, along with a new X-Ray machine and new server room. Beyond equipment upgrades we are working on a Master Plan and Master program that will support us with our future growth projections as a hospital. We also continue to focus on the key strategies within our five-year Clinical Priorities Plan launched in 2023.
We are excited about our future and look forward to working together to implement this new plan.
