As you may have heard, today the Province announced a 28-day shutdown for all parts of the province south of Sudbury effective December 26 at 12:01AM.
The situation is extremely serious as daily infection rates across the province continue to rise at an alarming rate. The rates in both the region of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health and Peel Public Health are also not showing significant slow down.
This shutdown will not affect areas of our hospital operation and we will continue to provide care to our community.
In order to beat this virus, all levels of government, businesses and everyone at the individual level must all be working toward the same goal. Our focus will remain steadfast to provide a safe environment for everyone who works and receives care here.
