Steve was experiencing immense pain in his lower abdomen and had gone from specialist to specialist to try and figure out what was happening. 

Due to the pandemic many of his appointments were delayed or cancelled; getting the care he needed was moving a lot slower than he had hoped.  

Jodie has been part of the Dufferin County Paramedic Service for five years, working out of the Orangeville Base.

Sherry completed her Diploma in Nursing from Georgian College in 1990 with her final pre-graduation placement here at Headwaters. On her last shift in our Emergency Department, she was asked if she would like a job on the Obstetrics Unit.

During this pandemic infection prevention and control has undergone significant changes to protect patients, families, caregivers, staff and physicians.

With combined threats of health care associated infections and COVID-19 we have had to implement stricter measures that follow the Public Health Agency of Canada’s evidence-based guidelines.
