President & Chief Executive Officer

Kim Delahunt

Kim Delahunt is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Headwaters Health Care Centre (HHCC), where she provides strategic leadership for the organization and its commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the communities it serves. With more than 25 years of leadership experience across the Ontario health system, Kim has held senior roles spanning acute care, primary care, home and community care, long-term care, health system planning, government, and the private health sector. 

Since joining HHCC in 2019, Kim has led significant organizational and system transformation initiatives, including the development of the hospital's current Strategic Plan, implementation of a new electronic medical record system, expansion of clinical services and infrastructure, advancement of quality and patient safety initiatives, and strengthening partnerships across the region. Under her leadership, HHCC achieved Accreditation with Exemplary Standing and secured major investments to support future growth and meet the evolving health care needs of the community.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Masters in Science degree from McMaster University, as well as a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. She is a Certified Health Executive (CHE), has completed the Advanced Health Leadership Program at the Rotman School of Management, and holds the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from the Directors College at McMaster University. Kim also serves as a member of the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine Council and a Director on the Board of Woodview Mental Health and Autism Services.

She and her husband have two children, and one large breed dog, named Oakley. 

Chief of Staff & Vice President, Medical Affairs

Dr. Grace Wang, MD, FRSC

Dr. Grace Wang MD, FRCSC, is the Chief of Staff at Headwaters Health Care Centre. She completed medical school and General Surgery training at McMaster University and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Wang joined Headwaters in 2008, and has been an active and highly committed member of the medical staff. She was the chief of surgery from 2016 to 2022 and has been an active physician representative on many hospital committees. She has been integral in the expansion of the department of surgery and numerous quality improvement projects across the hospital. She is an active mentor and teacher for medical students and residents. She is a strong supporter for teamwork, quality care, and dedication. 

Dr. Wang is a proud and tireless advocate of health and wellness in our community, and has been at the forefront of our health care foundation’s fundraising efforts for surgical equipment and cancer care. In 2022, she successfully organized Orangeville’s first ever CIBC Run for the Cure, raising over $10,000.

Outside of work, she can be found either at the pool or gymnastics club cheering on her three children. She also loves cooking, crafting, and travelling. She is always up for a new adventure.

Vice President, Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer

Cathy van Leipsig

A strong leader and health care executive, Cathy joins Headwaters with more than three decades of health care experience. For the past 17 years, Cathy has held progressive leadership positions serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at both Georgian Bay General Hospital and Haliburton Highlands Health Services and as Director of Finance at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre and Headwaters Health Care Centre (HHCC).

As VP and CFO at HHCC, Cathy plays a key role in the stewardship of the hospital’s financial resources and information technology strategy. She co-leads the Digital Health Working Group of the Hills of Headwaters Collaborative Ontario Health Team. Cathy’s overall responsibilities for the hospital’s corporate services portfolio include finance, procurement, health information management including patient registration, information technology, environmental services, food services, clinical nutrition, security, bio-medical engineering, facilities, laboratory services, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging. 

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys to hike and kayak.

Vice President Patient Experience, Health Integration, Chief Nursing and Health Disciplines Executive (CNE)

Annette Jones

Annette Jones is well-known across the organization and with our community partners, having joined our team in the spring of 2022 as Accreditation Lead also providing interim Director-level leadership to the patient experience and quality portfolios. In August, she transitioned to the role of Vice President, Patient Experience, Health Integration and Chief Nursing and Health Disciplines Executive (CNE).  

Annette is a registered nurse, graduating from the University of Toronto with her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. She has worked in multiple health care organizations across Ontario and for the past 18 years has held various senior executive leadership positions including Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. She has been a surveyor with Accreditation Canada since 2017. Annette was previously at Southlake Regional Health Centre where she was the Vice President, Patient Experience and Chief Nursing Officer. 

She loves cycling, hiking, and volunteering her time in the community. She is currently the Board Chair of Addiction Services of Central Ontario.

Vice President, People Experience and CHRO

Frances Duiker

Frances Duiker is a successful human resources leader with over 10 years of progressive leadership experience across public and private sectors and non-unionized and multi-unionized environments.
 
Frances joined Headwaters in 2019 and was promoted to Director early in her tenure with the organization.
 
She has a keen ability to lead teams to develop, collaborate and deliver results in numerous people needs in areas such as labour relations, health, safety and wellness, performance management, compensation, talent strategy initiatives and medical affairs.
 
Frances also represents the hospital in building and collaborating with external partners, including strategic community and regional initiatives.
 
She attended the University of Guelph, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management. She uses her unique blend of business understanding and human resources knowledge and experience to support our hospital and its people needs.
 
Outside of work, Frances and her husband can be found with their two young children, spending quality time with extended family. She enjoys home renovation projects, and spending time at the family cottage.
