Welcome to Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Everyone at Headwaters is committed to making your stay with us as safe and comfortable as possible. 

We want you to feel confident and informed about everything that affects you while you are at Headwaters. Please ask a member of your health care team if you have any questions.  

Visiting patients

Access to patients units is enhanced for the safety and security of all of us at Headwaters.  

To visit a patient on a unit with restricted access, please use the phone conveniently located outside of the unit entrance to enter. A staff member will answer your call and open the doors.   

To exit any of the units, please speak with staff and request assistance to exit the unit.   

Unit

D-wing 

 

  • Visitation is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as part of Headwaters’ commitment to compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.
  • Quiet hours are observed from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. During this time, visitors are asked to minimize noise and movement in hallways to support patient rest.
  • For safety, doors remain locked after hours. Visitors and patients may use the phone located outside the unit to call in for access.

 

E-wing 

F-wing 

Obstetrics 

  • Visitation is also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with quiet hours from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Access to the unit remains restricted 24/7 for safety and privacy. Visitors and patients must use the phone located outside the unit to call in for entry.

ICU

  • Restricted access 24/7. 
  • Patients will use the phone provided outside the unit to call in and enter.

These changes will enhance safe interactions among patients, visitors and staff.

Patient survey 

Patients who recently visited Headwaters may receive a survey asking for their feedback. 

Through feedback from patients like you, Headwaters continually strives to improve our patient experience. Survey data will be analyzed for trends, enable us to identify opportunities for improvement and highlight what we’re doing well.
