Danielle's Story
Meet Danielle, Stores Department.
After graduating from the Paramedicine Program from Centennial College, Danielle did a placement as a paramedic student with the Dufferin County Paramedic Service where she developed an interest in working with the hospital.
Danielle has been part of the HHCC Family for 11 years, starting in Environmental Services, moving to the Medical Device Reprocessing Department and now in Stores.
“All the teams that I have worked with here have been full of characters. There are a lot of dedicated hardworking people here and that is what can make your day a positive one,” said Danielle.
The laughs with coworkers over the years has been her favorite part of working here, as well as the stories patients on E-Wing would share with her while she was on the Environmental Services Team.
“The stories of the lives that these patients have experienced in their years can be very humbling and educational,” said Danielle.
Fun fact, Danielle’s younger brother was among the first babies born here and even has his photo in the newspaper to prove it.
To someone interested in becoming part of the team, Danielle would say “Buy good shoes and do your squats! Also, I hope you can bake and contribute to our food Fridays.”
Thank you, Danielle, for all your contributions to our hospital, baking included!
