  • Tom's Story

    Tom, Chief of Dufferin County Paramedic Services has been a part of the Headwaters team for 35 years!
     
    Tom was born and raised in Dufferin County and refers to himself as a “home town boy”. Growing up he was influenced by his Grandad Hugh, who in 1968 became the areas first full-time Paramedic. This was when the province first brought in provincial ambulances and at the time they were called Ambulance Drivers.

    Our volunteers at HHCC are instrumental in our daily operations and make a huge difference in the lives of our patients, families, caregivers, and our staff. Truly inspiring, our youth volunteers often dedicate their time while balancing school and part-time jobs. We encourage you to recognize the hard work they do, and how important they are to our team.

  • Anne's Story

    This year Anne, Rehabilitation Clerk, celebrates her 35th Anniversary at Headwaters. In 1984, Anne started working in our Environmental Services Department and then went on to be part of the Registration Team supporting Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Imaging until finally transferring to her current role in Rehab/Ambulatory Care.

  • Dan's Story

    Dan, a member of our Materials Management Department has worked at Headwaters for 37 years. He started working at Headwaters (then Dufferin Area Hospital) in May 1982 as a part-time Porter. He had been working in a similar position elsewhere and knew someone who worked at the hospital who suggested he apply.
