COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment Drive

Now more than ever Headwaters needs support from the communities we serve. The COVID-19 pandemic is putting significant strain on vital hospital resources including much-needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Without these items, we cannot provide the care our patients need. As we continue to respond to the critical demand of COVID-19, we are calling on our communities to help us by donating any unused, unopened and unexpired PPE to our hospital.

Items needed include:
  • Ear-loop masks 
  • N95 masks 
  • Gowns 
  • Vented goggles 
Thanks to the generosity of the community we no longer require donations of gloves at this time.

At this time we cannot accept other related supplies, including hand-sewn masks, however, if you wish to send along your details by emailing us we will keep your details on file for any future needs.

Deliveries can be made to Headwaters’ Shipping and Receiving Department at 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville, Ontario L9W 4X9.

Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm please call Headwaters Switchboard on 519 941 2702 who will direct you call to arrange delivery.


All donations will be inspected, assessed, cleaned and disinfected (where possible). Please complete and print off the donation form below and bring it with you when you drop off donations at the shipping and receiving department. If you don’t access to a printer, please be sure to include your name and contact information with the delivery.

Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to during drop-off. Please stay two metres (six feet) away from other people. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to drop off donations.
 

Donate to help the front-line teams

Many of you have been asking how you can help during this challenging time. You can express your gratitude, and help support our immediate needs, by making an online donation through www.hhcfoundation.com.

We have received so many kind gestures of support through food/beverage donations, and while these are appreciated, for the safety of the public, patients and our staff, we are asking that food and other donations are not dropped off at Headwaters without prior contact. Food/beverages will only be accepted from commercial suppliers, and we require that food be in a covered container or individually wrapped or placed in sealed bags.

If you wish to discuss food donations please contact us to discuss a coordinated delivery.

Please note that if a tax receipt or gift acknowledgement is required for a product donation you should first contact Dora Boylen-Pabst, Foundation CEO, proof of fair market value will be required. Tax receipts will be provided for all cash/credit card donations over $20 made through www.hhcfoundation.com/ or by calling 519-941-2702 ext. 2303.
