Today, Headwaters Health Care Centre's information technology system noticed suspicious email activity. The hospital has taken immediate preventative action by shutting down the internal system as well as access to the internet, and key external partners.
We recognize the concern this may cause, please be assured that we are taking all necessary measures to resolve this matter. We will share an update when we know more.

As an organization we take cyber security very seriously and have numerous measures in place to protect our data. Thankfully, our team noticed unusual activity quickly and actioned immediately.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and take any further measures necessary to ensure our hospital remains a safe place for those that work and receive care here.
