Orangeville, ON – January 1, 2020 –Headwaters Health Care Centre welcomed its first baby of 2020 today! Parents Alichia and Matthew Hunter, big sister Lily, and big brothers Ethan and Carter, of Orangeville, welcomed baby Aubrie Adele Mary Hunter, weighing a healthy 6 pounds and 6 ounces, at 1:15am January 1, 2020. Congratulations to the family at this very special time.
Did You Know?
- There were over 800 deliveries at Headwaters over the last year.
- Headwaters’ Obstetrical program is growing at a rate of about 10 per cent each year.
- Headwaters now has four obstetricians with clinics adjacent to the hospital at 140 Rolling Hills Drive.
- Midwives registered with Midwives of Headwaters Hills have hospital privileges at Headwaters and work alongside Headwaters’ Obstetrical Team of physicians and nurses to offer midwife-attended hospital births.
- Every piece of hospital equipment our doctors and nurses use are funded by community donations through Headwaters Health Care Foundation.
- Most recently thanks to the generosity of our local community, the Obstetrical program received a new birthing bed and two wireless fetal heart rate monitors. The monitors provide real-time data while the mother is in labour.
