Nutrition Services

You will be served three nutritious meals per day by our Nutrition Services staff while you are in the hospital. Your meals will be prepared according to your physician’s diet order and served via a tray service. 

Meals are delivered at:
  • Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:20AM
  • Lunch: 11:50AM – 12:15PM
  • Dinner: 4:50 – 5:15PM
If you have any nutritional concerns, food allergies or special dietary needs, please ask a member of your care team to arrange for a visit from our Nutrition Services team.

Onsite nutrition services


Cafeteria: Our staff are happy to offer a variety of hot and cold food options along with quick snacks. Payment is by cash or debit (for purchase over $5.00). Open Monday – Friday from 7:30AM – 2:30PM (grill closes at 2:00PM). On weekends and statutory holidays, the cafeteria is open from 9:30am – 1:30pm. We are located on the lower level of the hospital.

Pulse Café: Volunteers run and operate the Pulse Café, located in the Main Lobby. All proceeds support the purchase of new equipment at the hospital. Beverages and quick snacks are available. Hours of operation vary.

Vending machines: There is a fresh food vending machine in the cafeteria which serves sandwiches, milk, wraps and other items. In the main lobby behind the Coffee Bar (Café), there is a standard vending machine offering snacks.

 
We acknowledge that our hospital resides within the traditional territory and ancestral lands of the Tionontati, Attawandaron, Haudenosaunee, and Anishinaabe peoples.

We also acknowledge that various municipalities within the County of Dufferin reside within the treaty lands named under the Haldimand Deed of 1784 and two of the Williams Treaties of 1818: Treaty 18: the Nottawasaga Purchase, and Treaty 19: the Ajetance Treaty.

We also acknowledge the land which forms the Town of Caledon is also part of the traditional Territory of the Huron-Wendat and Haudenosaunee Peoples, and the Anishnabek of the Williams Treaties.

This land is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
