Headwaters Health Care Auxiliary Shelburne

About Our Auxiliary

The Auxiliary operates much the same way as any efficient organization. It has a Board of Elected Officers. The members of the Board are volunteers, willing to share their experience and committed to work many hours for the benefit of the Headwaters Shelburne and its patients. 

The Auxiliary is an integral part of the hospital. Members help to organize fundraising events and provide services in the hospital such as the weekly tuck cart for patients, seasonal tray favours and baked goods for family and friends to enjoy when visiting patients.

Fundraising events are held throughout the year, including:

  • Valentine's Euchre

  • Spring Ham Supper

  • Summer Garage Sale

  • Christmas Luncheon and Bazaar

Funds from all our fundraising activities are used to purchase medical equipment for the Headwaters Shelburne site.
