Headwaters Invites
Community to Annual General Meeting
Orangeville,
ON, June 9, 2009 –
At the May
meeting of the Headwaters Health Care Centre’s Board of Directors, the
Hospital announced it has partnered with the Central West Community Care
Access Centre (CCAC) to operate a Nursing Clinic providing services such
as IV therapy and wound care, funded by the CCAC and located in the

waiting in the Emergency Department,” says Cholly Boland, President and
CEO, Headwaters Health Care Centre.
The Governance and Nominating Committee reported they have received nine
applications from community members to join the Board of Directors. The
committee is interviewing the candidates and will present the
nominations for ratification at the June 16th Annual General
Meeting at Monora Park
Pavilion.
“We are pleased with the response from the community. All of the
applicants bring a different perspective to managing our community’s
health care needs,” says Margot Hornseth, Chair of the Board of
Directors.
The Finance Committee of Headwaters Health Care Centre’s Board of
Directors announced a balanced budget for the fiscal year 2008/09.

statement of operations for the Hospital and Foundation.
“Our goal is to maintain a deficit free position. We will continue to
pursue creative solutions to address financial constraints,” says
Boland.
