Internist Starts New
Practice
Orangeville, ON –
Dr. Atul Joshi M.D.,
joins Headwaters Health Care Centre’s department of Internal Medicine
and will be opening a private practice based in Orangeville.
Prior to joining Headwaters’ Dr. Joshi was with the Huron Perth Alliance
group of hospitals based in Stratford, Ontario. Dr. Joshi practiced at
the alliances’ sister hospitals including Stratford General Hospital,
Clinton Public Hospital and South Huron Hospital. Previously he was with
Grand Falls in Windsor, Newfoundland; South West General Hospital and
Parma Community General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
A native of India, Dr. Joshi received his medical degree at G.S.V.M.
Medical College in Kanpur, India in 1992. He completed his internal
medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Health System in Ohio and
Memorial University, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Dr. Joshi is a general internist with an interest in non-invasive
cardiac care (Holter monitoring, stress testing, (ECG) electro
cardiograms), gastroenterology (colonoscopies) and intensive care.

stroke clinics that will benefit our patients,” says Dr. Jeff McKinnon,
