The Smile Cookie program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that raises funds for local charities across Canada and the United States. These special smiling double-sized chocolate chip cookies are available for a limited time only. This unique program originated in Hamilton, Ontario in 1996 as a way to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children's Hospital. Since then, it has expanded across Canada helping a variety of children's charities, hospitals and community programs.
The Smile Cookie program is a unique way for Tim Hortons store owners to give back to community charities, and they couldn't be happier. It's mouth watering goodness for a good cause.
Yes the Smile Cookies are gone, but the smiles will last forever. Thanks to you, we helped raise over $2,000,000 to help support local charities throughout Canada.

represent a donation to the store’s local health
charity of choice and will then become part of

Making Connections:
Board of Directors Thank-a-Thon
Recently, the Foundation Board and Senate members dedicated an evening to calling donors to thank them for their support and continued involvement with Headwaters Health Care Foundation. The thank-a-thon, which is held twice per year, is an opportunity for volunteers to personally connect with the people who so generously give to Headwaters.
The Board Members contacted almost 500 donors.
