Construction will affect parking Jan. 7-8

On Saturday January 7, construction workers will be crane lifting 3 sections of the hospital expansion’s new structural snow roof and related materials up to the roof above the Operating Room.

As a safety precaution, the rooms and areas in the path of the crane lift will be evacuated for the duration of the work. The areas impacted are Diagnostic Imaging, OR, Critical Care (CCU), the CCU Quiet Room, the back service elevator as well as a portion of the CCU/F-Wing corridor. Movement between these areas will be restricted by both physical barriers & staff members providing access control.

Visitors are encouraged to consider parking in the main parking lot for easier parking access. As well, the Shipping & Receiving and Heliport parking areas will be unavailable, and access to the back service hallway entrance/exits to the parking lots will not be accessible. The work will take place throughout the Saturday.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work towards the completion of our new expansion!
