Mental Health improves care for patients
Thanks to innovative technology, access to mental health care in Ontario has improved significantly, particularly for people living in Dufferin County and Caledon. Previously, patients at Headwaters needing mental health consultations and follow-ups would have to travel great distances and often encountered long wait times, travel costs and time away from their families, friends and work. But now with the help of Telemedicine, patients can access specialists and experts from around the province from the comfort of Headwaters’ Telemedicine studio.
