Capital Equipment Priorities 2009-2010

The government does not provide funding to Headwaters for the purchase of new equipment.  And so, every wheelchair, surgical instrument, bed side monitor, ultrasound machine – every tool used in the care and treatment of our patients – must be purchased through the generosity of people in our community. It's only through the caring support of the community that we continue to have a well-equipped hospital.

This year the hospital needs to purchase over $1 million of new equipment to continue providing state-of-the-art patient-centred care close to home.
